There are many things that you can do to improve your life, but they all start with changing your habits. Habits are things you do so often they become automatic.

Simple habits are something that takes very little of your time but can have a big payoff in the long run. Here are 3 simple habits that you can work on daily to help you become exceptional.

#1 Start Your Day with a Clear Goal

A clear goal in the morning can make all the difference in your day. You will feel more confident and ready to take on challenges. You will be less likely to procrastinate or give up. This is because you are setting yourself up for success before you even start your day.

The first thing to do when you get up is to decide what your goal for the day is going to be or what you want to accomplish.

Your goals could be anything from reading one chapter of a book, exercising for 30 minutes every morning, writing 500 words a day for a blog post, or anything else that will help get your day started — like affirmations.

#2 Drinking Water

The basics of a healthy lifestyle start with a good diet. Drinking water is the most essential part of maintaining a healthy diet because it helps regulate body temperature, provides nutrients and cleanses toxins from the body.

Drinking water is also a better alternative to sugary drinks because it is natural, refreshing, and has no sugar or calories.

#3 Work on Your Growth Mindset

A growth mindset is a mindset that recognizes that intelligence and talent are not fixed traits. It’s the belief that by working hard, we can expand our capabilities. A growth mindset encourages people to believe in themselves and their abilities, even in the face of difficulties or failure.

We all have a growth mindset to some degree, but it can be strengthened by studying and practicing techniques for how to cultivate it.
